This is Brooklantern's rendition of the Pink Floyd cover song. There is a complete history of his song of youtube. Peace
Here is Brooklantern from Australia: This song was written with a few good friends of mine... May they be well, now and forever
This song was written & performed by a good friend of mine.(Brooklantern) It's about a goal that was never achieved; and an idea that never saw the light of day; a dream lost... It's about what "could have been", and also about seeing one's worth only as others judge it, and the fear of growing old without said recognition. But sometimes, there is gold lying at our feet. We just fail to recognize it... I hope that Wayne - a good friend of mine - accepts this offering as my sincere apology, which I have never been able to give to him in person. I am sorry Wayne, for all the misunderstandings; and for the fact that I never strove as much as you knew that I could.
An, umm, inauspicious (un-pretentious?) video from the first single off the biggest album from the top-selling rock group of the '80s. But w/r/t the melodic sophistication of this band, I don't think it can be questioned.

It was mixed by Dave "Rave" Ogilvie (Nine Inch Nails, Jakalope, David Bowie, Marilyn Manson) On the streets of Toronto, Sandra of Ripped travels singing in half time, quarter time and double time creating a stunning visual effect. Artistic and flowing, the character mesmorizes you as she leaves her band mates from a restaurant to meet up with them later across town at lounge bar.
Music video by Canadian pop/rock band "Ripped". Off their latest cd called "Blow Your Mind". Moody plays Mr. Carroll, a man content to grow old and die as a couch potato watching other people live their lives as he fails to live his. Sandra is a spirit, wise master, trying to wake him up and enlighten him as to the deep sleep that he has now put himself in. Inspired by the "Basketball Diaries" featuring Jim Carroll and Leonardo DiCaprio.

i think this is from a performence they did on the old grey whistle test
This dude is a real rock star. Kick ass music, great personality, and a look that makes the gals fall over themselves. There was a time when rockers were real and Brother Love is a throwback to those days.
