The US approach to incarceration is rotten from Pelican Bay to Gitmo, but this workmanlike little video is a great start. And it's cool that there's a phone number to call, so you aren't forced to passively allow this kind of thing be done in your name.
Thank you for this video, the youth lockup system throughout this country needs to be redefined. I know the sense of loneliness and despair lockup youth feel first hand. I am also a great example of how kids can turn their lives around. I would also like to note that the corporations often contracted to run youth lockups are no less destructive than most state systems.
Wish my quicktime server would ALLOW me to view this. Then again, I'm being scolded because I said that if Bush called my house, I would hang up on him.
