as a mac zealot I've always loved this ad, and perhaps in this day and age of reactionary political views and ideology a timelt reminder of where we need to be careful in heading, and I don't mean in choice of OS
As a Windows user (and therefore completely unable to understand the religious fervour that one can dedicate to an *operating system* despite being an ex-Amiga user) I was actually disappointed to the very Orwellian treatment of this advert over at Mac TV, where a real-life Winston Smith added an iPod to the girl with the hammer before being caught by Steve Jobs at a hotel in the Prole sector (Redmond) having an illicit affair with a Windows CE powered smartphone, and being carted off to Room 101 to be subjected to Mac OS 8 and Windows 3.11 for his transgressions. Good to find the unaltered version.

This ad was directed by Ridley Scott, no less. I'm not a Mac-addict but I think it's beautifully done. Why "infamous" ?
