'Banned' is a little strong. I'm pretty sure no one in power had any qualms about this catoon in the 40s. In 2001 the Cartoon Network decided not to show a dozen or so Bugs Bunny cartoons for assorted reasons, mostly ones that had racist moments like this video. But even that doesn't equal banning.
i agree, muffins. probably not a ban in the true sense but an unwritten agreement to stop airing it....have you ever seen Bugs Bunny as Tojo? That's friggin amazing.
